About the Role

Join us in shaping the future of Consunet as we prepare for growth. Reporting to the Deputy CEO and leading a small P&C team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the people strategy, building both leadership and workforce capability, and fostering a high-performance culture. Your hands-on approach will be essential as you collaborate with the Executive Team to provide strategic P&C advice and ensure the effective delivery of the P&C services.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Drive the people and culture strategy to cultivate a culture that emphasises diversity, inclusion and high performance across the organisation.
  • Work with leaders to build people leadership skills and develop workforce capability.
  • Develop talent acquisition and retention strategies to support business growth.
  • Lead and manage organisational change initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
  • Implement P&C best practices to support the organisation strategy, while proactively managing risks.
  • Build a workforce plan that aligns with and anticipates future needs and skills gaps.
  • Be an integral resource in improving, documenting, and vocalising our employee journey and employee value proposition.
  • Lead Wellbeing and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives that embed the values of the organisation and support all employees.
  • Provide strategic guidance and deliver customer focused solutions that are pragmatic and agile.

To be considered, candidates will have:

  • While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, an undergraduate or higher degree qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline is highly regarded alongside a Change Management qualification.
  • Proven Leadership & Collaboration: You excel at fostering a collaborative, innovative, and resilient culture, and you are passionate about building capability ion others.
  • Comprehensive P&C Expertise: You bring extensive experience across the full breadth of all People & Culture disciplines.
  • Strategic & Proactive: You will have a proactive mindset and strategic approach, you effectively contribute to organisational growth and workforce planning.
  • Exceptional Communication & Confidentiality: You possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, coupled with the discretion and confidentiality needed to handle sensitive people matters.
  • Organisational & Time Management: You are self-directed, with exceptional organizational skills to manage competing deadlines effectively.
