About You

We are seeking a diligent, energetic, and dependable person with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, pro-active, and enthusiastic with excellent organisation skills.

They will be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team, and enjoy interacting with people, capable of engaging effectively and empathetically with all employees and visitors.

Ideally you will have an HR qualification (or you may be studying towards your HR qualification), and have experience, skills and knowledge in the following:

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of P&C practices and legislation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and use initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Confident using technology, and able to adapt and learn new systems such as an HRIS.
  • Superior organisation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
  • Proven ability to work in a team and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

As a People and Culture Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting various People & Culture functions that enhance employee engagement and streamline recruitment processes.

Working closely with and supporting the HR Manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist, key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Recruitment Support - Assisting with the entire recruitment process: from job advertising, resume screening to interview coordination, candidate communication, pre-employment screening checks (references, clearances, IKM assessment and qualifications), database and record maintenance.
  • Onboarding Champion - Being the first point of contact for new hires, guiding them through a seamless and engaging onboarding process that fosters a strong connection to our company culture.
  • Employee Engagement- Assisting with organising employee well-being and recognition programs, team building events, and feedback initiatives that enhance workplace culture, inclusivity, and our employee resilience.
  • HR Documentation Management - Assisting with the development, implementation, review and maintenance of HR related documentation, data, policies, practices and records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organisational standards, and managing confidential information with discretion.
  • Employee Relations - Acting as a point of contact for employee enquiries, addressing concerns and facilitating communication between employees and management.
  • Professional Development - Assisting with identifying and organising training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities for employees.
  • HR Reporting & Analytics - Collecting and analysing HR data to generate reports that inform decision making, support strategic planning and maintain compliance requirements.
